Madeleine is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Madeleine works with clients across the lifespan, offering psychological therapy and assessment for a wide range of clinical presentations, with a special interest in trauma-related concerns, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Complex PTSD (childhood trauma), attachment trauma, single-incident trauma, and distressing life events.
Over her career, Madeleine has worked in private practice and community settings, providing therapy to individuals with PTSD, childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and emotionally challenging relationship dynamics. In addition, she works extensively with clients from the ADF, RAAF, and Navy.
Madeleine has a particular interest in helping clients identify and work through the underlying causes of their difficulties, supporting them to develop emotional regulation skills, build resilience, and restore a sense of autonomy in their lives.
Madeleine is deeply committed to creating a strong therapeutic alliance grounded in empathy, trust, and collaboration. She works with clients to explore past experiences, process distressing memories, and develop practical strategies for navigating present challenges. Her trauma-informed approach not only focuses on symptom reduction but also on fostering long-term wellbeing and personal growth.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Madeleine believes in the value of a holistic method to encourage physical health, emotional resilience, and inner balance. She empowers clients to cultivate self-awareness, build healthy relationships, and align their lives with their values and goals.
